👉 the best is to spend two or three days visiting the five villages but, If you have just one day to visit the Cinque Terre, here’s our advice!
1. DRIVE to Levanto and head to the train station.
From here, it's just a 4–5 minute train ride to reach the Cinque Terre villages. Trains run frequently and make it easy to hop between them throughout the day.
2. Buy the Cinque Terre Train Card.
This daily ticket gives you unlimited train travel between all five villages and also includes access to the famous hiking trails.
⚠️ Important: The Blue Trail (Sentiero Azzurro) is only included between Monterosso and Manarola.

3. Return by boat from riomaggiore to monterosso – relax and enjoy the sunset view!

4. End your day on Monterosso’s beach and finally back by train to levanto.Monterosso beach, is especially enjoyable in the late afternoon when it’s less crowded.
🛣️ How to reach Levanto by car ?
take the motorway towards Genova and exit at Levanto.
